Short version: the Viamero demo app stores everything only in your own browser. We use one cookieless analytics tool to see basic visit counts — no tracking cookies, no user accounts. This page mainly covers standard website hosting, that analytics tool, and the one third-party font provider we currently use.

1. The demo application (viamero.com/demo)

The Viamero demo app does not have a backend or a database. Every trip, scenario and price you enter is stored exclusively in your own browser's local storage (LocalStorage) on your own device. This data is never transmitted to, or stored on, any server operated by us or by anyone else. If you clear your browser data or use a different device or browser, that data is gone — we cannot recover it, because we never had it.

Your trip-planning data stays in your browser and is not stored by Viamero. When you follow an affiliate link, our affiliate networks and booking partners may process data required for referral and conversion tracking, as described in section 2 below.

Beyond following an affiliate link, the demo app does not use cookies, does not run any other analytics or tracking scripts, and does not require an account, email address, or any other personal information to use.

2. Affiliate links and tracking

Viamero participates in affiliate marketing programs, including the CJ Affiliate network operated by Epsilon International UK Ltd. Some links to travel and booking providers are affiliate links. If you follow such a link, the affiliate network and/or the respective booking provider may process information about the referral in order to attribute a subsequent booking or purchase to Viamero and calculate a commission.

This may involve tracking technologies such as cookies or similar identifiers, and the processing of information such as the referring page, time of the click, browser/device information, and information relating to a subsequent transaction.

Where consent is legally required, such tracking technologies are only used after you have provided the appropriate consent. You can withdraw or change that consent at any time, wherever such a mechanism is presented to you.

3. This website (viamero.com)

We process the following limited data when you visit this marketing website:

3.1 Server log files (hosting)

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Like virtually every web host, Netlify's servers automatically log standard technical information for each request — such as IP address, browser type and version, referring page, date and time — for the purposes of operating, securing and debugging the website. We do not combine this data with any other data source, and we do not use it for profiling or marketing. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure and reliable operation of our website. For details on Netlify's own processing, see Netlify's Privacy Policy.

3.2 Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see basic visit counts for this website — page views, referring pages, and country-level location. It does not use cookies or any other persistent identifier, and does not collect personal data or build profiles of individual visitors; Cloudflare states it does not track you across websites or over time. Because of this, no consent banner is required. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding whether and how this website is being used. 3.3 Google Fonts

This website currently loads the fonts "Raleway" and "Fraunces" directly from Google's servers (Google Fonts). When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, USA). We are in the process of moving to self-hosted fonts to avoid this external connection entirely; until that change is live, this transfer happens on every page load, with the legal basis of legitimate interest in consistent typography (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). 3.4 Contact by email

Where this site links to info@viamero.com, clicking it simply opens your own email application — no data is collected or stored by us in that process. Any email you then choose to send us is processed only to respond to your inquiry, and is not shared with third parties.

4. Cookies

Beyond the affiliate-link tracking described in section 2, we do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising — the analytics tool described in section 3.2 is cookieless by design. The only browser storage we control directly is the LocalStorage described in section 1, used solely by the demo app to save your own trip data on your own device, and a small LocalStorage entry that remembers your language preference (EN/DE/IT) on this site.

As Viamero grows (for example, if we later add real booking-provider price lookups, which would need a small backend), this policy will be updated to reflect exactly what changes and why. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever that happens.

Die Viamero-Demo-App hat kein Backend und keine Datenbank. Jede Reise, jedes Szenario und jeder Preis, den du einträgst, wird ausschließlich im lokalen Speicher deines eigenen Browsers (LocalStorage) auf deinem eigenen Gerät gespeichert. Diese Daten werden niemals an einen Server von uns oder Dritten übertragen oder dort gespeichert. Wenn du deine Browserdaten löschst oder ein anderes Gerät bzw. einen anderen Browser nutzt, sind diese Daten weg — wir können sie nicht wiederherstellen, weil wir sie nie hatten.

Deine Reiseplanungsdaten bleiben in deinem Browser und werden von Viamero nicht gespeichert. Wenn du einem Affiliate-Link folgst, können unsere Affiliate-Netzwerke und Buchungspartner Daten verarbeiten, die für das Referral- und Conversion-Tracking erforderlich sind, wie im folgenden Abschnitt 2 beschrieben.

Abgesehen vom Folgen eines Affiliate-Links verwendet die Demo-App keine Cookies, führt keine sonstigen Analyse- oder Tracking-Skripte aus und erfordert kein Konto, keine E-Mail-Adresse und keine sonstigen personenbezogenen Daten zur Nutzung.

Wie praktisch jeder Webhoster protokollieren Netlifys Server automatisch technische Standardinformationen zu jeder Anfrage — etwa IP-Adresse, Browsertyp und -version, verweisende Seite, Datum und Uhrzeit — zum Zweck des Betriebs, der Absicherung und der Fehlerbehebung der Website. Wir führen diese Daten nicht mit anderen Datenquellen zusammen und nutzen sie nicht für Profiling oder Marketing. 3.2 Website-Analyse

Wir nutzen Cloudflare Web Analytics, um grobe Besuchszahlen für diese Website zu sehen — Seitenaufrufe, verweisende Seiten und die Herkunft auf Länderebene. Das Tool verwendet weder Cookies noch andere dauerhafte Kennungen und erhebt keine personenbezogenen Daten bzw. erstellt keine Profile einzelner Besucher; laut Cloudflare erfolgt kein Tracking über Websites oder Zeiträume hinweg. Deshalb ist kein Consent-Banner erforderlich. Rechtsgrundlage: berechtigtes Interesse (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO) daran zu verstehen, ob und wie diese Website genutzt wird. 3.3 Google Fonts

Diese Website lädt aktuell die Schriftarten "Raleway" und "Fraunces" direkt von Googles Servern (Google Fonts). Beim Laden einer Seite verbindet sich dein Browser dabei mit Google-Servern, wodurch deine IP-Adresse an Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, USA) übertragen wird. Wir arbeiten daran, auf lokal gehostete Schriftarten umzustellen, um diese externe Verbindung künftig ganz zu vermeiden; bis diese Umstellung live ist, findet diese Übertragung bei jedem Seitenaufruf statt, mit der Rechtsgrundlage des berechtigten Interesses an einheitlicher Typografie (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). 3.4 Kontakt per E-Mail

Wo diese Seite auf info@viamero.com verlinkt, öffnet ein Klick lediglich dein eigenes E-Mail-Programm — dabei werden von uns keine Daten erhoben oder gespeichert. Eine E-Mail, die du uns danach schickst, verarbeiten wir ausschließlich zur Beantwortung deiner Anfrage und geben sie nicht an Dritte weiter.

4. Cookies

Abgesehen vom in Abschnitt 2 beschriebenen Affiliate-Link-Tracking verwenden wir keine Cookies für Tracking, Analyse oder Werbung — auch das in Abschnitt 3.2 beschriebene Analyse-Tool ist von Haus aus cookielos. Der einzige Browser-Speicher, den wir direkt kontrollieren, ist der in Abschnitt 1 beschriebene LocalStorage der Demo-App zur Speicherung deiner eigenen Reisedaten auf deinem eigenen Gerät, sowie ein kleiner LocalStorage-Eintrag, der deine Sprachwahl (EN/DE/IT) auf dieser Seite merkt.

I tuoi dati di pianificazione del viaggio restano nel tuo browser e non vengono memorizzati da Viamero. Quando segui un link di affiliazione, i nostri network di affiliazione e i partner di prenotazione potrebbero trattare i dati necessari per il tracciamento del rinvio e della conversione, come descritto nella sezione 2 qui sotto.
